Animal Planet has a show called Pit Bulls and Parolees. The reality TV show documents the daily happenings at Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC), the largest pit bull shelter in the US. The founder, Tia Maria Torres, hires parolees and together they work to rescue the dogs - resulting in the name Pit Bulls and Parolees.
"Making Miracles" was an episode aired on February 3, 2013. At around the 40:45 mark, Dr. Kristen Kulinski from Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital in Louisiana mentions Kinavet! Kinavet was used to treat Chong, a pit bull that came with his brother, Cheech, in 2011. Two years later, the two have won over all the hearts at VRC and have become part of the family. Earlier this year, Chong was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and had to get his mast cell tumor treated immediately. Kinavet took it from there!

Also, as some of you may already know, Kinavet is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. This concept has been gaining popularity, considering it was mentioned on NBC's Do No Harm, a human medical drama. A tyrosine kinase trial was mentioned around 2:17 when they were trying to use it as justification for the purchase of lab rats.
If you hear about Kinavet or tyrosine kinase inhibitors in general, don't hesitate to let us know! We'd love to check it out!
